Products And General Information
Full Spectrum Hemp Oil is from the cannabis plant called hemp which is high in cannabidiol aka CBD. It is extracted using the entire hemp plant using a co2 method to provide the purest and most potent cannabinoid oil. Full spectrum utilizes all the available cannabinoids within the plant to give the entourage effect to provide maximum benefits.
Cannabinoids are active compounds produced by all cannabis plants. They account for most of the benefits of cannabis. Cannabinoids found in plants are technically called phytocannabinoids, while cannabinoids produced by the human body are called endocannabinoids. Cannabinoids interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS), which promotes homeostasis.
While the popularity and overall acceptance of CBD have skyrocketed in recent years, state laws on CBD vary widely. The most important factors determining CBD legality are whether it is derived from hemp or marijuana and if it is produced by a state-licensed grower.
Even though hemp contains virtually no THC, the answer to the question, “Is hemp oil legal?” is not that simple. As of 2019, CBD derived from hemp is legal nationwide at the federal level. This includes all hemp-derived CBD products like oils, edibles, and ointments. However, some states have laws on CBD from hemp that are restrictive. In some states, CBD derived from marijuana is completely legal; but in most states, its legality depends on a number of different factors and conditions.
Our hemp extracts contain over 80 different phyto-cannabinoids. In addition to the cannabinoids naturally present in our agricultural hemp extracts, there are also many other types of natural molecules and phyto-chemical compounds such as amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins (including B1, B2, B6, D), fatty acids (including omega 3 & 6), trace minerals (including iron, zinc, calcium, magnesium, potassium), beta-carotene, chlorophyll, flavanoids, ketones, nitrogenous compounds, alkanes, glycosides, pigments, water, and terpenes. The most common terpenes in our hemp extracts are Myrcene, Beta-caryophyllene, Terpinolene, Linalool, alpha-Pinene, beta-Pinene, Nerolidol og Phytol, trans-alpha-Bergamotene, Limonene/ beta-Phellandrene (Co-elution), and alpha-Humulene. We also use the oil from hemp seeds as the carrier oil to provide a pure hemp experience.
Sibannac’s Full Spectrum Hemp Oil is extracted from 100% industrial hemp, which contains 0.3% THC or less. Our extraction method leaves the most cannabinoids intact to offer the entourage effect that allows maximum benefits. We firmly believe in using the entire hemp plant and offering stickily full spectrum products.
Scientifically and genetically, industrial Hemp and Marijuana can be the same plant, with a genus and species name of Cannabis Sativa. Industrial Hemp is always a strain of Cannabis sativa, while marijuana can be Cannabis sativa, Cannabis indica, or Cannabis ruderalis. The major difference is how industrial hemp has been bred compared to a marijuana form of Cannabis sativa. Industrial hemp is very fibrous, with long strong stalks, and barely has any flowering buds, while a marijuana strain of Cannabis sativa will be smaller, bushier, and full of flowering buds. Marijuana, 99% of the time, has a high amount of THC and only a very low amount of non-psychoactive cannabinoids. Hemp, on the other hand, naturally has a very high amount of these and only a trace amount of THC. Fortunately, the cannabinoid profile of hemp is ideal for people looking for benefits from cannabis without the ‘high.’†
Hemp is used for making medicinal remedies, food, fiber, rope, paper, bricks, oil, natural plastic, and so much more. Whereas marijuana is usually used just recreationally, spiritually, and medicinally.
*Our hemp extracts are sometimes referred to by people as cannabis oil, as the term cannabis can technically describe hemp or marijuana, and in our case cannabis oil is obviously being used to describe our hemp oils.
Our raw extracts have varying percentages of cannabinoid content. The range has been 9%-70% so far.
This however has no effect on how much pure cannabinoids go into each bottle of oil. If we have a 20% extract, we’ll put twice as much of that extract in the formulation compared to if we used a 40% extract. The final amount of actual cannabinoids in a bottle will always be the same despite the variation in the percentage of the base extract.
As a supplement we can only recommend our hemp oil blends for internal consumption.
Hemp is considered by many to be generally safe. We’ve never seen or heard of any significant or negative side effects in our years in the industry. That said, we can’t rule them out. Please consult with your physician before using any dietary supplement including Hemp extract supplements.
In accordance with federal regulations we cannot make health claims regarding our dietary supplement products. We can only recommend our products for general wellness.
